The whisk programming settings are complete when the temperature (70°C) is reached, taking around 2 minutes if the lid is on.
The Magic Whisk will hold a maximum of 250 ml of milk, you can use non-dairy alternatives, we recommend oat milk for the perfect creamy latte. Please do not use water.
The specialised programming and our uniquely designed whisk & basket attachment ensures the matcha powder slowly filters through the whisk coils to create a silky smooth matcha latte. Make froth, not lumps! The Magic Whisk is designed to heat the milk to around 70°C, the perfect temperature to brew matcha without burning the powder for the best taste.
To clean your Magic Whisk, first unplug it and detach the jug from the power base. It’s best to clean it immediately after each use. Next, rinse and clean the inside of the jug using warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive cloth. Once cleaned, dry the jug thoroughly too. Avoid immersing the jug or power base in water.
If you notice a milk layer at the bottom of the jug, soak it in warm, soapy water for a few hours, then wipe it off with a non-abrasive cloth.
You can wash the whisk, basket, and lid in the dishwasher using a cycle below 40°C but keep in mind that the jug and power base should never be placed in the dishwasher.
The Matcha Advent includes blends that contain traces of PEANUT. Please also note calendars are packed in an environment that contains NUTS.

"I’ve been looking forward to this calendar for ages, after it sold out last year I thought I would get it early. After receiving my first calendar, I noticed all the tins of matcha were loose in the calendar and moving about. I was really disappointed as I was looking forward to it and now some doors don’t have anything behind it. I then emailed to which the person suggested that I spoil the surprise of the calendar, open it and rearrange it myself. The person further spoiled the process by sending a full list of matcha and their corresponding days. I was then sent another calendar which I received with the exact same issue. For £55 you expect to receive a calendar that is packaged correctly and then have the surprise ruined is really disappointing."
"Loving my electric matcha whisk. I never drank Matcha before and now I am hooked. At least one a day! It makes it to perfection one mug at a time. Perfect size, temperature density and taste. I was always wary of the “grass” effect but this smashes that out the park. Wonderful addition to my very busy kitchen - and I wouldn’t be without it!!!"

"I love the matcha advent calendars, full of limited edition flavours. My one main issue with this is that two years in a row I've had to open my calendar and re-set all the tins because the packaging doesn't hold them properly and they get moved around in transit so when you open a door, sometimes there's nothing there! Kinda takes the surprise element out of it. The packaging should really be changed to address this issue."

"Absolutely love the matcha flavours that Bird and Blend do and I'm so excited to try the new Christmas ones included in the advent calendar. However, I received the advent calendar this morning, all I could hear was the tins rattling about and one of the doors is already open and slightly ripped. The tins were all over the place. Sad as its very expensive and I would expect better packaging to keep the tins in place."

Heats the milk to just the right temperature and it's all so easy to prepare (although a bit of a pain to wash up afterwards. . . ). 250ml as a maximum measure didn't sound much, but it fills my mugs right to the top.
